Who can become a EUROAVIA member?
In order to become a member, you have to be enrolled at a university as a student. Post-graduate students are also accepted.
I'm not a student of aerospace engineering. Can I also be a member of EUROAVIA?
Students of other courses are welcome anytime. In the development of technologies in the field of aerospace many different disciplines are involved. The fascination and passion brings us together.
What sort of reputation does EUROAVIA have in the engineering business?
Through our various contacts throughout the engineering business, we have noticed that involvement in student organizations such as EUROAVIA tends to leave a positive impression on throughout the corporate world. EUROAVIA is known to many personnel departments throughout Europe. Most of the events we host depend on successful cooperation with our various corporate partners.
What happens when my studies are over? How can I become alumni?
All regular members of the association are automatically becoming alumni in case of de-registration or loss of post-graduate student status. Requirement for membership in the alumni program is a regular membership in the EUROAVIA during your studies. If you have no interest beeing a membership in our alumni program, you can disagree to the local board. You can also make this contradiction at a later date, but its validation starts only with the receipt of the written revocation by the Board.
What are the benefits of the Alumni program of EUROAVIA?
As a participant in the alumni program you are still benefitting from the large network of EUROAVIA and also have the opportunity to further on participate in EUROAVIA events. As part of fireside chats and other events (for example the annual, international alumni meeting) contact with old classmates and colleagues can be maintained easily. An ideal opportunity to share thoughts, ideas and suggestions. In addition, Alumni can continue to shape the experience of the young regular members by passing on valuable experience and knowledge.
